The Wonders of Life

This interim, our 7th graders will be exploring life from the inside out! We’ll start by learning how to use science tools and microscopes to get a closer look at things we can’t see with our eyes alone. From there, we’ll dive into the world of cells, learn about viruses and bacteria, and discover how the different parts of an animal cell work together. We’ll connect what we learn about cells to the human body and explore how our body systems work together every day. We’ll also talk about nutrition, where our bodies get their energy, and how the choices we make can affect our health. These topics help students understand not only how living things work, but also how to take better care of themselves. There is so much happening inside and around us that we don’t often stop to think about, and this interim gives us a chance to take a closer look!
