USERNAMES & PASSWORDS
To access your school account you need to know your username and set up a password.
WHAT IS MY USERNAME?
Your username is a combination of the following:
YOUR LAST NAME(S), YOUR FIRST INITIAL OF YOUR FIRST NAME, THE LAST FOUR NUMBERS OF YOUR STUDENT ID
Complete your log in information by adding @my.sduhsd.net
COMMON PROBLEMS WITH USERNAMES
Make sure you have your username in the correct order
Your username should be last name(s), then first initial, then the last four digits of your ID.Not sure how to find your student ID number?
Check your Aeries account. The information will be there. If you have a longer last name(s), the account name will be abbreviated to 14th character of your last name. For example, if a student's name is Kai Henderson-Fallbrook, and their student ID is 1215678, their username would be HendersonFallbK5678@my.sduhsd.net. If you have difficulty, you may need to contact your LC Tech to find out your username.
Make sure you are typing in the final part of your email properly
Your email should end in @my.sduhsd.netSome programs do not need you to add the @my.sduhsd.net part when entering your username. This includes Sora.
HOW DO I CREATE/RESET MY PASSWORD?
The website for creating and resetting passwords can be accessed by clicking HERE.
The video on the right will walk you through the process. Remember that when setting a password you only need to type in your username, not the @my.sduhsd.net part.
If you have not set a password before it will be:
your birth month + your birth date + your full student ID
Example:
Let’s say your birthday is October 8 and your student ID is 769342.
Your password would be 1008769342.
(10 for October, 08 for the 8th, and 769342 for your student ID number)
