Effective for the 2025-26 school year, the optional Chromebook insurance program will no longer be offered. We understand that the previous insurance model, while providing peace of mind for some, also added complexity and an additional cost at the beginning of the school year.
In response to feedback and our commitment to supporting our students' learning, we have implemented a new, streamlined, and lower fee schedule for Chromebook repair or replacement due to accidental damage. This revised structure is designed to be much simpler to understand and, most notably, significantly lowers the cost per incident for families.
Once families have completed the "2024-25 Technology User Agreement" that was included in the enrollment packet, the student may check out a Chromebook from their school. This is typically part of the Taking Care of Business Days before the start of school.

They are not intended for the following:

Adding personal accounts can also slow down the efficiency of your Chromebook and cause issues access files shared by teachers and staff. For optimum performance, it is recommended that you only use your District account on it.
