HOW TO CREATE AN AERIES ACCOUNT

For security and safety, each guardian creating an account will need to view the instructions emailed and/or mailed to your student's primary contact before creating your own parent/guardian account. This will provide you with the STUDENT ID, VERIFICATION CODE, & PRIMARY PHONE NUMBER on file. These three items must match in order to create your account. If you enter a different phone number, Aeries will not be able to verify that you should be granted access to the student's account. If you unable to locate this, please contact your school's registrar.

Once you have located this information, please click this link and select "Create New Account" and follow the instructions provided.

Once you have set up your account, you can access Aeries as a website or by installing the Aeries app on your preferred device (Apple/Google Play).

HOW TO USE AERIES

When you sign into your Aeries account, you will see the 'Class Summary' page. This provides an overview of your student's academic progress. You will be able to check grades, as well as see if your student has any missing assignments.

To dive deeper into this information, use the tabs at the top of the page. For example, click 'Grades' and selected 'Gradebook Summary'. This will allow you to see the score for each assignment as well as its category (e.g. homework, test, presentation, etc).

ATTENDANCE OVERVIEW

Whenever you log onto the Aeries homepage, you will find an up to date account of your student's attendance in this class. This provides an overview for the whole year so far. You can use this to monitor absences, tardies, and unexcused absences.

SETTING UP NOTIFICATIONS

Once you have set up your Aeries account, you can determine how you would like to receive different types of announcements.

Click the circle with your initials in it to find a drop-down menu. Select 'NOTIFICATIONS'. Now check and uncheck boxes to indicate how you would like to receive each different type of announcement.

Note: Any emergency announcements will automatically be sent in all formats.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

I have more than one student in the District. Do I need multiple Aeries accounts?

No. Once you have set up an Aeries account for one student it is easy to add others. Log into your portal account and on the top right of the screen you should see the option to add another student. Click 'Add Additional Student' and follow the instructions provided. Now all your students should be accessible from the same account. You can switch between them as necessary.

Can more than one parent have access to a student Aeries account?

Yes. Just make sure that each parent/guardian creates an account of their own (and that they don't use the same email address when doing so).

What if I have forgotten my password?

If you have forgotten your password, please click 'Forgot Password' on the Aeries log-in page. You will be asked to enter the email address you used to sign up for your Aeries account. Instructions to reset your password will be sent to this email address.

What if the information in my student's Aeries account is incorrect?

If you identify an error in your student's Aeries profile, please contact the school counseling secretary. They will seek to rectify the mistake as soon as possible.
