SAFETY & SUPPORT

Before we begin introducing the technology you will use this year, please read through the information provided below.

STUDENT START PAGE

The student start page, my.sduhsd.net, is where you will find links to all of the commonly used programs you'll use regularly.  When in doubt, check the start page!

SUPPORT IS AVAILABLE

Firstly, most importantly, it's okay if you get stuck or confused when trying to use District technology. Please use this website as your primary resource. It contains guides to all the tools you will need, as well as a help page that explains some of the main problems students encounter.

Should you need further assistance, you should contact your Learning Commons Tech, who will be happy to help you.

Chromebook

GET THE MATERIALS YOU NEED

Each school will provide a Chromebook, Wi-Fi hotspot, and/or a pair of headphones for any student who requests one.  Students must bring in a hard copy of the "2023-24 Technology User Agreement" with a parent/guardian's signature.

See your school's website or contact your school's assistant principal for details.

STUDENT SAFETY & PRIVACY

All SDUHSD students have signed an Acceptable Use Policy regarding the use of technology.

Common Sense Media provides excellent resources for ensuring safe online practices.

TEACHER WEBSITES

Each school's website is linked on the my.sduhsd.net home page and contains important information, including links to your teachers' websites. Teachers' websites are a very useful resource. Use them to find out information about your classes.
