San Dieguito Union High School District prioritizes the safety and security of our students in the digital environment. We are committed to providing a protected online learning experience and encourage responsible internet practices.
SDUHSD uses a filter to prevent access to inappropriate sites, images, and videos on our network and on school-issued Chromebooks. This protection extends to students using personal devices if connected to SDUHSD WiFi. At home, all student-issued Chromebooks remain filtered, even when they are on an outside network.
Popular social media sites like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Snapchat are blocked on school WiFi and district devices.
YouTube is accessible on district devices and Wi-Fi, but with restricted content. This includes blocking inappropriate videos and disabling features like recommended videos and comments.
No. Parents cannot change any settings on a District Chromebook. Your home internet service may have an option to adjust what can be accessed on your home network. Please contact your internet provider for more information.
