Guardians can request to receive regular email summaries that will show what your student is doing. These emails will include information about class activity, upcoming assignments, and missing work. New this year, guardians can view their student’s Classwork page through direct “View in Classroom” links in the email summary. Guardians can only preview the posts and are not able to interact with assignments.
To sign up for this feature, please email only one of your student's teachers and request to be manually added to the email summary list. (You do not need to ask every teacher. Once you have been added to one class, you will automatically receive updates for them all).
You will be sent an email invitation to join the class. Click 'Accept' and you will start receiving email updates automatically. (If you cannot find this link, please check your Spam folder).

At the bottom of every email from Google Classroom, you will see an option for 'Settings'. Click this link and set the frequency of your email updates to the level you require. Options available include daily updates (Mon-Fri), weekly updates, or never.
You can also click 'Unsubscribe' if you wish to remove yourself from Google Classroom entirely.
