Aeries and Google Classroom are two key tools for keeping up to date with assignments and grades.
The Aeries Parent Portal allows you to stay up to date with your how your student is doing in school. You can use it to view gradebooks, daily attendance, and test scores. You can also use the portal to update your own contact information should this need to be changed.

Teachers use Google Classroom to share information digitally with their students. Parents and guardians can sign up for regular email summaries with one of their student's teachers that will provide updates on current classroom activities. This includes information about upcoming assignments and missing work as well as a link to preview the Classwork page.

IXL is an online learning platform that allows students to practice Math at their own level. Student progress and levels continuously adapts to each student’s individual skills, so each student receives the appropriate challenge, whether they are working at, above, or below grade level. IXL is available to all middle school students and students in Integrated Math 1 Readiness, Integrated Math 1, and Integrated Math 1/2 Essentials as well as math support classes. Freckle continuously adapts to each student’s individual skills, so each student receives the appropriate challenge, whether they are working at, above, or below grade level. To help keep your child safer and more scholarly online, SDUHSD has adopted online services provided by GoGuardian. We use GoGuardian Teacher to help protect students against harmful and inappropriate online material as well as help students stay “scholarly” and more focused when learning online. Teachers can use GoGuardian to monitor student activity on district-provided devices during school hours only. We encourage you to discuss rules for appropriate internet usage outside of school with your student and to reinforce lessons of digital citizenship and safety with them.
Learn more about the new one-to-one touchscreen Chromebook program beginning Fall 2021. Each student will receive a touchscreen Chromebook to use at school and home. Students are expected to bring the Chromebook to school every day as part of their school supplies. While chargers will be available in key locations around campus, students are expected to bring their Chromebook fully charged.
Start by reviewing the Student Tech Support section of the Tech Hub. If you've tried all of the solutions there and are still having trouble, ask your teacher. If you are still having trouble, stop by the Learning Commons and talk to the Learning Commons Tech. Families can reach out to your school's front office for support.
