WTT v2 Tech~Tonics

Many of you are adept at using Google Classroom to store and share individual copies of student assignments. However, have you ever considered using Google Sites to be the means to store and have students access your consistent course content? Check out the Google Sites video series in TTBs 26-28 to see how to build Sites, and to discover how, as a teacher, you might want to use them to simplify your Google workflow. They make great student portfolios, as well, so watch the entire 3-part series.

The ScratchJr video series is complete. Making coding accessible to all Div 1 students, it also translates easily into extending reading, writing and basic math skills. See the ScratchJr Tech Tidbits page to see how to use it.

What’s on our radar? Microsoft is still extremely motivated to catch up in the Education market. Products like OneNote and Teams now have the ability to take the place of many Google products, and in some cases, do them better. Don’t be surprised if we offer training on some of these cutting edge features once we complete our own training.
