Day 7 Tuesday, April 4

At the start of our day we were told that our bus, which was our main source of transportation, had some trouble starting up; so our guide Jo told us that we had to get around by other means. Naturally, we suspected that we would use a different tour bus for the day. Little did we know, our teachers and tour guide had secretly set up a joy ride through Havana in the classic cars from the 1950's. Here we are getting into our cars in front of our hotel:

It was such a fun experience to travel around and get a better look at the city while we were riding to our AfroCuban dance class. It was also an opportunity to talk with our Cubano driver on the way to class.

At the end of the class, we had the chance to have our instructor show us one of the dances that we didn't have time to learn.
