Safeguarding

The school works in partnership with parents  to support children in every possible way. Safeguarding is a key priority. Legislation places a clear responsibility on the school to ensure that it works together with other agencies to safeguard and promote the welfare of all children. This is in line with  Hertfordshire Policy to which the school subscribes. Where necessary, cases will be referred to the investigative agencies in the interests of the child. St Clement Danes School has a Child Protection and Training Policy

The Designated Senior Leader for Child  Protection (DSL) is Mr A Harris (From September 2024: Mr S Barrett) and Deputy DSL is Mrs M  Whiteman, Welfare and Attendance Officer.
