Mid Workshop Interruption

Mid-Workshop Teaching

Mid-workshop teaching is a way to focus writers’ attention briefly. This quick teaching method is designed to help move writers forward by extending the work from the mini lesson or by reminding students about ongoing habits. This occurs approximately halfway through the student's independent writing time or when refocusing is needed.

Mid Workshop Teaching Point: In this video, writers write about an issue they care about. They invent a character who is going through that issue.
