General Announcements
Join us for the Mission Bay Music’s Pops Concert March 13th at 7PM in the Auditorium. The Symphony Orchestra, String Orchestra, Wind Symphony and Concert Choir will be performing music from your favorite movies, television and popular songs. Suggested donation of $5 at the door.
The Mission Bay Music Business Program will be producing the second concert of their series at Meraki Event Space and Lounge March 21st at 6PM featuring professional trumpeter Gilbert Castellanos. Tickets and dinner packages can be purchased at missionbaymusic.com. All profits benefit the music program.
First Gen Scholars Event - First Gen Informational Event for juniors and sophomores March 13 from 1-2 pm in room 154. Learn about the club and the First Gen Summer Program. Food and passes will be provided upon RSVP. RSVP using the QR code posted around the school and on @1stgenscholarsmb Instagram account.
Badminton! Meeting for students interested in playing on the badminton team for the 2024-25 school year on Tuesday, March 19 at 1:25 p.m. in Room 332.

ASB Announcements
It's ASB Campaign Week!!!
This week is ASB Campaign Week and Election Day is this Friday, March 15. Be sure to check Instagram, look for QR codes throughout campus and/or ask your teachers to share the link to the ballot with you this FRIDAY! You will be voting for ASB Officers (President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer) and Commissioners (Activities, Elections, Clubs and Communications, Spirit, and Publicity). These students will plan all events for the 2024/25 school year so make sure your voice is heard and choose the candidate you think will best represent you and Mission Bay!
Class Officer Elections will be held next week.

Hiring Fair for Sea World and Evans Hotels here on campus for summertime seasonal jobs - Tues, March 12th at Lunch (followed by a presentation in the library for interested eligible students).

Eligibilty:
Demonstrate critical financial need ($65,000 or lower adjusted gross family income is required)
Be involved in co-curricular and community service activities
Display integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity
Maintain a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0; and
Be a United States citizen

9th-11th Graders and Families - Please join us on Wednesday, March 20 at 6pm on Zoom to learn more about early college planning! MBHS Counselors will go over various topics, strategies, resources, and tools. 6-7pm will focus on choosing a school, learning about the application process, and financial aid basics. From 7-7:30pm, we will talk about how students may enroll in community college courses during high school.

The NEW Music Business Work-Study Program is curating a professional concert series at Meraki Event Space and Lounge this Spring. Our next concert will be March 21st featuring the MB Preservationists and Gilbert Castellanos.
