General Announcements
Friday is the end of the Semester! Check your grades in Canvas and Powerschool. Ensure that you have turned in all assignements. The last two days of the semester are MINIMUM DAYS for finals and for teachers to prepare for Semester 2.
Report Cards and Transcripts available Friday, January 26th - Report Cards will be emailed to parents via Digital Document Delilvery no later than Friday, January 26th. Students and Parents can print transcripts directly from student Powerschool and/or the Parent Portal anytime after Friday, January 26th.
Boys Lacrosse season is approaching! If you are interested in playing, please attend the pre-season info meeting Thursday, January 25th at 4pm near the boys locker room. You do not need to have any prior knowledge or experience to play lacrosse. All are encouraged to tryout for the team. If you have additional questions please contact missionbaylaxsd@gmail.com. Join us for the annual MB Music Program Fundraiser Concert January 28th at Deft Brewing. (5328 Banks St A, San Diego, CA 92110). Concert will be from 12-5PM featuring many of our amazing ensembles. Suggested donation of $20 for adults and $10 for kids and students. Thanks fo supporting music at Mission Bay!

+ 1968 Mercury Cougar, built, and painted by UTI students applying knowledge from Automotive and Collision courses
+ Portable wind tunnel displaying aerodynamics and effects of lift vs. drag
+ Showcase how science and math are incorporated in coding Arduino robots
+ Kawasaki KX250F dirt bike used in our Motorcycle Mechanics program

Senior Announcements
Seniors, stop by the library to see what overdues you have. 191 seniors have overdues. If you do not return your library and textbooks, you may not be able to participate in senior activities, such as Grad Night, Prom, and walking at graduation.
Diploma Name Card Confirmation
It's time for graduating Seniors to confirm the name displayed on their Mission Bay High School Diploma. Every senior is required to complete this form. If you have questions, please visit Ms.Gil, the Registrar.
Counseling Announcements
Printouts of your 2nd semester schedule were distributed last Friday, during 2nd period. Didn't get it? Check Powerschool to see your 2nd semester schedule. Scheduling change requests for second semester must be completed with your school counselor this week. Please stop by the office if you need to chat about anything!

Tell Your Parents
Wed, Jan 16th ELAC Meeting: Our next English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) will be held over Zoom on Tuesday, January 16th at 4pm. This meeting will include training about ELAC, the importance of school attendance for our English learners, and a discussion about what additional support our EL students need. All parents/guardians of MBHS students are welcome! Whether you want to join the committee, or you are simply interested in learning more, please join us!
