General Announcements
We are in the final stretch of Semester 1. Check your grades in Canvas and Powerschool. Ensure that you have turned in all assignements and take advantage of ACES tutoring and other resources provided by your teachers.
The last two days of the semester are MINIMUM DAYS for finals and for teachers to prepare for Semester 2. You will get a printout of your Semester 2 schedule during Period 2 on Jan 12th.
Report Cards and Transcripts available Friday, January 26th - Report Cards will be emailed to parents via Digital Document Delilvery no later than Friday, January 26th. Students and Parents can print transcripts directly from student Powerschool and/or the Parent Portal anytime after Friday, January 26th.

SD High School Coaching legend, Coach Cherry has built a power program at Mission Bay in San Diego. This past season, the Bucs were 24-10 and reached a State best. Coach Cherry has won numerous titles including a couple when current USC point guard, Boogie Ellis, was playing there. Coach Cherry and the Bucs are continuing to make strides down in Sunny San Diego.

Congrats to Seniors Justin Reichenberg (Rye-ken-berg) and Brandon Cheeks for being the Mission Bay representatives at the National Leap Fest Track Meet that took place Sunday January 7 at Mater Dei High School in Los Angeles. Nation's best Long and Triple Jumpers were invited and competed at a highly elite meet. Brandon and Justin are ranked # 1 and #2 at this event's high school division Triple Jump. Congrats to them both for the start to an amazing Track and Field Season in 2024!
Athletes interested in joining MBHS Track and Field please plan on attending informational meeting at 1:30pm in the Little Theater. Thursday, January 11th.

MBHS Drama is looking for Tech Support! If you'd like to be part of the stage crew for our Spring production of The Twelve Huntsmen, please fill out this google form so that we can email you necessary information AND come by Mrs. B's room (227) to pick up a script or ask any questions.
Saturday School is being held on January 13th. Review your attendance on Powerschool, clear up any unexcused absences and/or plan to attend. Passes will be distributed to students that should attend. For registration and instructions, see the school website
Lunch Detention - just a reminder it is held everyday in room 154 and starts at exactly 1:30PM.
Early grads must be in good standing with their attendance prior to the end of this semester in order to participate in year end activities

It's time for graduating Seniors to confirm the name displayed on their Mission Bay High School Diploma. Every senior is required to complete this form. If you have questions, please visit Ms.Gil, the Registrar.

Wed, Jan 31st 6pm - Course Planning/Articulation Night for families of new students. While the presentation is geared toward new students, this is a great opportunity to get your questions answered if you missed the previous presentation in November. All families welcome!
SAVE THE DATES 2024-2025 Orientation for returning students is tentatively scheduled for August 5th & 6th. Students will get their classes, books, ID card, locker assignments, parking passes and an opportunity to purchase Buc Gear, ASB cards, and Homecoming tickets. The first day of 2024-25 school year is August 12th.
Join us for the annual MB Music Program Fundraiser Concert January 28th at Deft Brewing. (5328 Banks St A, San Diego, CA 92110). Concert will be from 12-5PM featuring many of our amazing ensembles. Suggested donation of $20 for adults and $10 for kids and students. Thanks fo supporting music at Mission Bay!
