As an Academy School, Clairemont offers students the opportunity to learn in smaller, career-themed learning communities that combine college-prep academics with real-world, hands-on experiences. This model helps students build stronger relationships with teachers, explore future career paths, and connect learning to life beyond high school. Each academy provides a structured four-year sequence of study aligned to high-demand industries. Students gain career-specific skills while completing college prep coursework and have access to internships, and field experiences.

The Games and Simulation pathway prepares students for careers in game design, interactive media, and simulation development.
