The San Diego Unified School District Career Technical Education Advisory Committee (CTEAC) brings together educators, students, families, and industry partners to support and strengthen high-quality Career Technical Education (CTE) programs across the district.
The committee provides input on program quality, equity, and alignment with current and emerging workforce needs in San Diego’s key industry sectors. Members review data, share insights from their fields, and offer recommendations that help ensure every CTE pathway prepares students for success in both college and career.
CTEAC also serves as a bridge between schools and the broader community, helping connect classroom learning to real-world experiences and opportunities. Through this partnership, San Diego Unified continues to expand access to engaging, hands-on learning that builds the skills, confidence, and purpose students need for their future.
