On March 27th and 28th 2025, our school hosted two teacher trainers, Sebastian Knauf and Stephan Leitmann, from the Arnsberg teacher training center in Germany. They came as part of an Erasmus+ learning mobility program to train our teachers on the topic of "Using Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Schools." The teacher training covered the fundamentals and applications of artificial intelligence (AI) in education, the impact of AI on school life and society, as well as constructive approaches and media literacy. Practical workshops explored AI tools for simplifying teachers' work processes, the use of AI in the classroom, and the re-evaluation of education in the age of AI.
In addition, the experts were also involved in an art class with the 11th class, where students could discuss the future and use of artificial intelligence and share their experiences of using it in education. The arrival of the experts at our school was co-financed by the Erasmus+ project.
