Creating Strong Passwords:

Think about the suggested method of creating strong passwords. 

• Why is it necessary to have strong password? 

• Who should you share password with? 

• How many passwords should you create?

Follow the method described in video and create password: random pages word (3x), favorite number -42; add !; Capitalize first letter of each word

How does what I post online affect my identity?

Consider how posting selfies and other images will lead others to make assumptions about you.

Communities Online:

Watch DC Typing lesson 74 and discuss--Communities Online--

• What online groups are you a part of? 

• How do you communicate online? 

• Why  do we need to be careful with what we write online? (it can be misinterpreted) How can we avoid that? (use emojis, be kind)

Tips

1. Never respond when angry or upset. Pause and think

2. Don't worry if someone does not respond right away

3. Always be nice; no bullying

4. Do not talk to strangers

5. If conversation makes you uncomfortable, turn off device and tell adult right away.
