Open to Grades 2-8 - Ten Fun Hours!

What Will You Do?

• French Games: Play engaging games that help you learn new words and phrases.

• Sing-Alongs: Sing fun French songs that will stick in your head (and help you learn!). 

• Story Time: Enjoy captivating French stories and learn to understand them.

• Virtual Tours: Explore French landmarks and museums through virtual tours, giving insights into French heritage and architecture.

• French Dance: Learn and perform French dances, exploring the rhythmic patterns and cultural expressions of France.

How to Join: 

1. Point your camera at the QR code on this flyer to access the registration page on Mrs. Salem’s website. Complete the registration form by the deadline

2. If registering more than one child, please complete a separate form for each

3. To secure your child’s spot, transfer the fee to MRS. NADA SALEM via Venmo (@Nada-Salem-3) or Zelle (202-445-5777) by the deadline. Include your child's first and last names in the Memo/Notes section. Fees are nonrefundable. Credit may be granted on a case-by-case basis.

Spring 2025

Are you ready to embark on an exciting adventure to learn a new language? Join our Fun French Club this spring, where we dive into the beautiful world of French through games, songs, stories, and fun activities!

Open to Grades 2-8 - Ten Fun Sessions!

Details:

• Days & Time: Thursdays from 3:00 to 4:00 PM

• Meeting Dates: March 13, 20, 27; April 3, 10; May 8, 15, 22, May 29 (from 3 to 5 pm)

• Fee: $150 per student

• Maximum Capacity: 15 students (First Come, First Served)

• Registration Deadline: March 7, 2025

• Payment Deadline: March 7, 2025

• Be a World Explorer: Learning French is like getting a passport to explore new places! Imagine being able to chat with friends in Paris, marvel at the lights of the Eiffel Tower, or order your own croissant in a cozy French café.

• Have Magical Adventures: Every French lesson can be a magical adventure! Whether it’s through a virtual tour, a puppet show, or a fun song, each word you learn takes you on a new journey.

• Earn Brain Power: Learning a new language like French exercises your brain, making it stronger at solving puzzles and acing tests in all your subjects!

• French Movie Day (at Mrs. Salem's home): Watch popular French animations or short films suitable for children.

• French Fashion Show: Have a day where you can dress up as a famous French character.

• French Role-Play: Create scenarios where kids can role-play as shopkeepers, tourists, or famous French personalities to practice conversational French.

• Virtual Tours: Explore French landmarks and museums through virtual tours, giving insights into French heritage and architecture.

• Puppet Shows: Put on puppet shows that tell French stories or fables, fostering creativity and narrative skills.

• French Dance: Learn and perform French dances or listen to French music, exploring the rhythmic patterns and cultural expressions of France.

• Maximum Capacity: 15 students (First Come, First Served)  (Waitlist)

• French Role-Play: Create scenarios where kids can role-play as shopkeepers, tourists, or famous French personalities to practice conversational French.

Those who will be coming directly from Extended Day or another school activity must have a documented permission form. Those who are in Roblox Club on Thursdays can stay with Mrs. Salem till 4:30 pm.
