Students log in to Tinkercad.
On left side Select Codeblocks
Click Create new Codeblock
Click New Design.
Follow directions from coding video beginning at 6:09
Note that window to right (workplane) will show what student is creating
Blocks are on far left
Drag from panel to black Square in middle of screen.
Click the play arrow top right above workplane to see what is being created
Arrow to right of a block will expand so one can change the radius height, sides, edge
Students should
1. Drag blue block under shape Cylinder to middle (cylinder should be orange--solid shpe)
2. Click arrow to right on the block and change radius 50 H 14 Sides 20 edge 0 edge steps 1
3. Drag blue block under shape Cylinder to middle; Click on greyed out cylinder (this should connect under previous block)
4. Click arrow to right on the block and change radius 40 H 14 Sides 20 edge 0 edge steps 1
5. Drag purple block create group to middle (the hole will appear)
Click the play button up top and the orange cylinder will appear on the workplane
6. Drag green block create variable to top of black square area Click item drop down and rename to radius Click ok
change radius from 0 to 35
7. Drag purple block Create new object to middle of black square. Drop down menu change object) Select rename variable and type heart hit ok
8. Drag blue shape heart. Change to hole by selecting grey
10. Drag purple block scale change x: .25 y .25 z 1
11. Drag purple block rotate around Axis x by - 90 degrees
12. Drag purple block move x:0 Y: radius z : 0 Go to Data on left and drag the radius to replace Y: 0

Students should click at top and name project with First name bracelet homeroom

Computer programmers learn these languages so they can talk to the computer
