Special Contest for a Dress Down Day: 80's Winter Ball Flyer

Who: All St. Leo's students (K-8).

What: Design a flyer for the upcoming 80's Winter Ball. The flyer needs to have an 80's theme and somehow include the following information (be creative):

1- Title: Back to the 80's Winter Ball

2- Date & Time: February 4, 2023 from 6:30 to 10 pm

3- Location: Fairfax Country Club

4- Organizer: St. Leo's PTO

5- Attire: 80's Theme

6- Featuring DJ Scotty O

7- Offering food, drink, auction items, dancing and fun!

8- Ticket donation: $100 tax deductible donation per person

9- Registration Deadline: January 27

10- Donations will help Upgrade St. Leo’s Playground and Gym

11- Do not forget to type/write your name and grade (example: John Doe, 5A) on the bottom right hand corner of the flyer and, if using Canva, also type your name at the top, in the title space, as follows: John Doe, 5A, Flyer.

Due Date: Submit the flyer to Mrs. Salem by Thursday, Jan. 26, 2023 (either submit online via Canva or give the flyer to Mrs. Salem).

Rules:

1- Use an 80's theme

2- Include all important information about the event (under "What" above)

3- Submit to Mrs. Salem by the due date

4- Be creative!

(Parents can help younger students, but within limits)

All St. Leo’s students who submit a flyer that follows the rules will receive the outcomes below.

Outcomes:

1- Have your flyer displayed around the school

2- Receive a Dress Down Day

The Top 10 Flyers will also be featured on Mrs. Salem’s school webpage, St. Leo’s news, and WLEO.
