Nada M. Salem is a passionate educator with extensive experience in leading academic institutions in the United States and abroad. Over more than twenty-five years, she has taught students from kindergarten to twelfth grade, in addition to college students, student teachers, teachers, university professors, and leaders. She co-created and co-taught a methods course for teachers at The George Washington University Graduate School of Education. She currently teaches two executive courses to international professors at the George Washington University School of Business: one on Instructional Course Design & Educational Technology and another on Advanced Academic Writing.
Mrs. Salem gave, in schools and universities and at different national and international conferences, several workshops related to integrating technology in the classroom, emotional intelligence, team building, webpage design, peer mentoring, motivation, and learning strategies.
Mrs. Salem holds a bachelor's degree in languages (Arabic, French, English), a teaching diploma, two master's degrees, one in translation (Arabic, French, English) and another in education, and has successfully completed most courses (33 credits) towards a doctorate (Ed.D.) in Curriculum and Instruction & Educational Technology Leadership at The George Washington University Graduate School of Education. Additionally, she holds an Executive Certificate in Public Leadership from Harvard University. Mrs. Salem formerly served as Administrative Director and Assessment of Learning Coordinator for AACSB Accreditation at the GWU School of Business. She was also the Director of the Christian Lebanese Foundation in the World (CLFW) for about eight years; she worked directly with the two Lebanese bishops and most Lebanese priests in the USA. CLFW ran campaigns throughout the US aiming to preserve diversity, democracy and Christianity in Lebanon. In September 2019, Mrs. Salem was selected as a WOMAN LEADER by the University of Maryland‘s Kahlil Gibran Chair for Values and Peace. She is a member of the Marquis WHO'S WHO® list of Prominent Business Professionals, and she was featured among Marquis Who's Who's Top Executives in Education and Leadership.
Mrs. Salem is the Founding President/CEO of the American Foundation for Educational Excellence (AFEE), a global organization dedicated to empowering educational institutions, for-profit and non-profit organizations, influencers, corporate leaders, employees, and HR professionals to achieve and sustain excellence. She is also the Founding Director of the Center for Excellence in Languages (CEL).
Mrs. Salem is the Representative of the RECTOR of St. Joseph University of Beirut for Educational Excellence & Philanthropy in the USA.
Last but not least, Mrs. Salem is the Director of Training & Educational Technology / K-8 Technology Teacher at Saint Leo the Great Catholic School in Fairfax, VA.
