Time Capsules

These drawings are my time capsule drawings. I had to draw a self portrait, a corner of a room, an object, and an object in my hand. I used pencil for all of these drawings. At first I stared with lightly sketching and than didn't really get to anything else after. I didn't really use any elements or principles of design because it was just rough sketches.

In my drawings, the Composition rules and techniques I used is formal balance. My sketches are all roughly centered in the middle. My projects evolved slowly, once i got the shapes of everything down, i was able to put more details in.

There isn't much of a meaning to the sketches. I feel like were probably going to have to do it again at the end of the year and compare. The first one relates to my life because its my phone and the earbuds are plugged in and I'm always listening to music. the second one relates to me because i love to go to ben and jerrys to get a cookie dough milk shake. the third slightly relates to me because before practice i sit in the corner of the cafeteria and thats the corner I'm faced toward. the last one relates to me because it is me. These all could be a lot stronger if i took more tim on them. Next time in the future i will take more time to do them.
