Abstract Shoe

This is a close up up my converse. I first started with drawing from one of the zoomed and cropped photos in my Pure Contour. I then drew it out with light pencil and once i was confident in the lines i drew over them with sharpie. After that I filled in the shapes with patterns and designs to eliminate negative space. I used sharpie for the outlines, and regular marker for the colors.

I used line, shape, color, space, balance, pattern, emphasis. I used line by making the original pure contour shoe, I used shape by making shapes in my blank spaces, I used color by using red, pink, purple, orange, yellow, teal, and blue. I used space by not having a lot of blank space left, I used balance by balancing out the colors and evenly proportionating all the colors. I used pattern by making different patterns in each shape.

The meaning behind this is not much, Its just my shoe and i wear it everyday, so I rely on these shoes everyday. This relates to me just like my Extended Blind Contour, its very colorful and distracting and unorganized, just like me! If I could go back Id probably fill in that blank space in the background.
