DAY 2

For today's activity I want you to watch Mo Willem's lunch doodles! He is the author of some of your favorite books, Piggie and Elephant, Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus, We are in A Book! and the list goes on. Mo shares how he is inspired by drawing and creating new characters.

After you watch this video, I want YOU to doodle and create your own character, just like Mo Willems. You may use the journal I gave you or art materials at your home. After your character is complete, write at least 3 sentences telling me about it! Make sure to use spaces between words and lowercase letters. Stretch out the sounds the best you can! Send in your doodles to me when you are finished and I will post them! Have fun :)

Math 10 minute challenge: In ten minutes...Collect 100 items! They can be the same or different. Once completed, sort your 100 things in groups of 5 and 10.
