With over 20 year experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker working in schools and promoting student wellness I look forward to supporting the needs of students and families at Adelante High School.  Its a privilege to support Wellness Centers which provide a comfortable and safe space for students where they can get confidential services.   When not at work I enjoy living and playing in the Sierra foothills or just staying home working in my yard and hanging out with family, friends and of course my dog.  To learn more about our Wellness Center or take a tour feel free to contact me.

Francine "Fran" Velasquez

Family and Community Engagement Liaison - Adelante and Independence Campuses'

Hi, my name is Fran Velasquez. I work for the Roseville Joint Union High School District, supporting Independence High School. I earned my BS in Counseling Psychology from William Jessup University. I have worked in social service for 20+ years. In that time it has been my great pleasure to work with both students and families. Personally, I love being outdoors just having my feet in the sand and enjoying life. I am truly looking forward to supporting students and families at Independence High School.
