With almost 20 years of experience working with youth, families, and education within a social work capacity, I am passionate about supporting RJUHSD students, families and community. I am a licensed clinical social worker with a PPS credential in school social work. It is my firm belief that students can excel beyond measure, and I'm privileged to be able to support them along the way. I'm excited to be working with Oakmont High School this year and meeting all of our amazing students, staff and families.

In my free time you will find me traveling, enjoying time with family and friends, and likely planning my next Disney adventure!

Mental Health Associate

I am excited to be returning to Oakmont High School this fall as the Mental Health Associate. I am a Sac State Alumni and recently graduated from the University of San Francisco with a Master's in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in School Counseling and Clinical Counseling. On my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, going out to eat, binge-watching shows, and traveling. Being bilingual, I have a passion for serving the Spanish speaking community and hope to bring more representation to the field. I am dedicated to helping students break down barriers that prevent them from being successful and happy human beings. :)

Hello, my name is Erica and I have my BA in Women's Studies with an emphasis in Social Movements and a Minor in Ethnic Studies from Humboldt State University. During my time there I was also the President of the Queer Student Union. I worked as a Licensed Foster Parent and Teen Respite worker in Mendocino County for 5 years. I have been working with children and families in the Early Childhood Education sector for the past 11 years in both private and non-profit centers. I have been a member and volunteer with Kiwanis, Girl Scouts, Special Olympics, and Big Brothers Big Sisters to name a few. I have served on the PTC (Parent Teacher Club) for a local elementary school for four years as a Board member and continue to spend my time volunteering whenever I can.
