Marketing a property is the first introduction a prospect has to Riva Ridge as a company and to you as a Property Manager. All of the fees for posting to the internet are covered by the technology fee charged to the property owner. Creating the description and deciding the best format is your first step to a great listing. For information on listing the property for rent, see How to List a Property for Rent.

Photos
Professional photos are always a great conversation to have with your owner. However, professional photos don't always fit the type of property you're trying to rent. For the best photos, keep the below tips in mind:
Try to get both the floor and ceiling in any pictures you're taking
It's better to not touch up photos and include features that might be considered less desirable so the photos aren't deceiving
Make sure you include a photo of every room in the unit
Take photos of the best features in the unit
The first photo in the list of photos should be an exterior photo, or a living room if a unit in a multi unit building
If there are items that can be removed from the photo, move them from the room to take the photo, and then return the item
Close the toilet lid if it's up
Try to get good natural lighting

Videos:
It's recommended to take a walkthrough video of the property.
You can upload this to YouTube through your company email, then add it nicely to your listing
This will give potential renters a better idea of the actual set up of the unit
Especially valuable for out-of-state prospects
