Notification of Leaving Japan

Those students who are leaving Japan have to complete the “Notification of Leaning Japan” form below before leaving Japan. If you will re-enter Japan within one year, you don't have to apply for a re-entry permit. (This is called the “Special Re-entry System.” ) When departing Japan on leave, be sure to bring your passport and residence card with you. The special re-entry permit system does not apply to those whose resident status is in the process of revocation.(Ex.Leaving Japan after you graduate from Rikkyo ) Please confirm the necessary procedures for the during the duration of leaving Japan BEFORE leaving Japan. Those students who earned the credits for graduation and are leaving Japan before graduating from Rikkyo, you make sure to submit "International Students Graduation Directory."

Procedures before leaving Japan

Before leaving Japan, all international students are required to:

① Submit the "notification of leaving Japan" form

② Register the date of leaving Japan form "Current Location" on IRIS.

・Select "Outside Japan" and enter the location (country).

・Enter your "Japan departure date"

・Click on "Register your current location" button.

Procedures after entering Japan

① Entry Report Form（4/6 NEW）

Please let us know about your arrival from here as soon as you enter Japan. (both New entry and Re-entry)

② After you arrive in Japan, please enter your arrival date and click "input arrival date in Japan" button.
