Re-entry (Special re-entry permit)
If you have a valid residence card and have left Japan with a special re-entry permit and re-enter Japan, you do not need to do any special procedures, unlike "newly-entry" procedures. Still, you are required to check the website of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare and follow the appropriate entry procedures.
After entering Japan, please follow the procedures below and report your entry to the International Office.
