Eric Owens - Graduated 1998
EDUCATION:
Eric Owens holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Architecture from Washington State University (WSU).
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Upon graduating, Eric began his career at ALSC Architecture in downtown Spokane, where he worked until 2009. During his tenure at ALSC, he contributed to several notable projects, including the design of the baseball stadium at Gonzaga University and the Northside YMCA. In addition, Eric designed and built a custom home in Chattaroy, Washington, an experience that ignited his passion for residential design. In 2010, he joined Jon Sayler's firm in Sandpoint, Idaho. By 2015, Eric and his colleague, Matt, took over the firm, rebranding it as SOK Architecture Design Studio. In 2021, Eric expanded the business by opening a second office on Market Street in the heart of Hillyard. To enhance the firm's capabilities, SOK Architecture Design Studio introduced SOK Construction, a new branch that enables them to take a more hands-on approach in bringing their designs to life.
COMMUNITY SERVICE:
Eric is actively involved in his community and serves as Treasurer on the board of directors for the Northeast Community Center. He has donated his time and expertise to design a new gymnasium for the Northeast Youth Center, in collaboration with former president Kate Green. Eric is also one of the largest contributors to the center’s annual athletics auction and supports several local sports teams, including the girls’ basketball, baseball, and cheerleading teams. Additionally, Eric is a strong advocate for Hillyard Build, a program supporting children in the Rogers District. He is also a dedicated supporter of cancer-related organizations, particularly Cancer Can’t, which provides critical support for cancer patients and their families.
HONORS:
Eric graduated as Valedictorian of his class at Rogers High School in 1998. During his time at Rogers, he was recognized in Who’s Who Among American High School Students for his academic excellence and leadership. Eric was also an active member of the National Honor Society, ASB, and the Future Business Leaders of America.
Stacy Boyd – Graduated 1989
EDUCATION:
Stacy Boyd completed an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Degree in Administrative Justice and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Social Work.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Stacy served as a police officer with the Moses Lake Police Department from 2003 to 2014, accumulating over 11 years of law enforcement experience. In 2014, he transitioned back to Spokane, where he began working as a Resource Officer and Campus Safety Officer, a role he continues to serve in to the present day.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT AND RECOGNITION:
Stacy has dedicated the past 25 years to coaching and mentoring over 1,200 youth in the Spokane community. He has volunteered over 30,000 hours at the East Central Community Center, where he has played a pivotal role in fostering student-athletes. His commitment to providing opportunities for teenagers to play basketball has helped many of them achieve their dreams of playing at the collegiate level. Stacy is the current CEO of Spokane Elite Basketball Club, the largest youth basketball program in Washington State (http://spoakeelitebasketball.com). The club is supported by a dedicated team of 15 volunteer staff members. Stacy's long-term vision includes establishing a foundation and non-profit organization aimed at assisting homeless and at-risk youth. His passion for youth development is evident in his tireless work to provide access, opportunity, and mentorship to the next generation, with a focus on love and compassion. Through his work, Stacy has mentored and coached over 1,500 youth within Spokane Public Schools and the broader community.

Jon Schuh graduated - 1987.
EDUCATION:
Jon graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Education, with a major in Physical Education, from Eastern Washington University (EWU). He furthered his education by earning a Master’s in Education from Lesley University.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
For the past 25 years, Jon has been an educator in the Central Valley School District. He began his career teaching at Bowdish and Horizon Junior High Schools before moving on to University High School, where he taught and coached. In addition to his teaching role, Jon served as a coach for both girls' slow-pitch and fast-pitch softball.
COMMUNITY SERVICE:
Jon has actively volunteered as a basketball and softball coach in the Spokane community. He served as a volunteer softball coach for Spokane Valley Girls Softball and co-founded and coached the Spokane Mud Hens for six years. Additionally, Jon has provided oversight for the coaches and players of the University High School softball program, which has raised over $150,000 in support over the course of 21 years.
