Nancy graduated in 1964. She attended Washington State University. As an employee at Tomlinson Black Real Estate Company, Nancy was the one employee to receive the "Best Staff Member" Award. Her community involvement includes the following: Booster Club, July fundraiser events that contributed towards scholarships for John R. Rogers students, facilitated a successful work group that organized class reunions, helped to create a video capturing world events as well as John R. Rogers High School activities, and she organized scrapbooks for the first fifty year reunion. After retiring from Rogers after 13 years, Nancy had become involved with her church. She volunteered at Meadow Ridge Elementary, Evergreen Elementary Northwest Christian School, and Browne Elementary. In 2007 Nancy began making prayer teddy bears, which she distributes to nursing homes and to homeless girls attending the YMCA School. She also participates in walking events including the American Cancer Society, the Wildlife Conservation Society, and Bloomsday participation for 17 years.
Myron graduated in 1974. He received an AA from Spokane Falls Community College. he received an Associate Fellow Degree and Photographic Fellow Degree from the Professional Photographers of Washington. In 1993 Myron started Green Gables Photography. Professionally Myron belongs to or has belonged to the following organizations: Professional Photographers of Washington (Executive Board and past President), Professional Photographers of America, Wedding and Portrait Photographers International, the National Association of Photoshop Professionals, and Adobe pre-release Beta Testers Group. Myron has been on the Advisory Board for Spokane Falls Community College and he is very active in his church. He is the Official Photographer for the Spokane Lilac Festival, the Celebrate Life Pageant, the Miss Spokane Pageant, and the Miss Spokane Outstanding Teen Pageant. Myron is a local school volunteer, he is involved in Job Shadow, Career Days, Junior Achievement, and he has coached youth baseball. he has also served as President of the Lilac Association. These are a few of his accomplishments: Toys for Tots Chairman, awarded a Certificate of Appreciation from the Department of Defense and the United States Navy, Armed Services Committee member, Operation Spokane Hero's supporting member, downtown Spokane Kiwanis Club member and served on the Executive Board, keynote speaker at eh Navy Ball, knighted by the Royal Rosarians, knighted by the Commodores, received the President's Anchor in Astoria making him an Honorary Admiral, and Citizen of the year by the Spokane Association of Realtors.
Robert graduated in 1938. At the end of World War II, he attended Georgia Tech University on the GI Bill and graduated with a degree in Industrial Engineering. Robert is a decorated WW II Veteran, one of a handful of the famed "P-51 mustang" pilots still alive today. He was reactivated in the Air Force as a pilot during the Korean War and flew with the 6147th Forwards Control Group known as the "Mosquitoes". He served as a test pilot, an instructor pilot, and the Assistant Director of Aircraft Maintenance for Headquarters 5th Air Force, later appointed the Director of the Pacific Air Forces Maintenance Standardization Team. The following are some of the medals which he was presented: Distinguished Flying Cross, Bronze Star, Air Medal with two oak leaf clusters, United States Presidential Unit Citation, European Theatre Medal with four battle stars, Korean Theatre Medal with two battle stars, Air Force Commendation Meal with two oak leaf clusters, and the Korean Presidential Unit Citation. AS president of Choctaw Associates, he was active in the community in helping to establish large tourist-based developments that serve as the base for what is now known as the "Emerald Coast". Robert also supported numerous civic organizations and sponsored events at local junior and senior schools to encourage exposure to engineering and surveying.
Michael graduated in 1960. He received his Bachelor of Arts with honors from Washington State University in 1964. While at Washington State he was Vice-President of Phi Kappa Phi, Crimson Circle, Beta Gamma Sigma, Vice-President of Inter-fraternity Council, and Golf Team Captain and three-year letterman. He had a career in finance including President of Old National Bancorp in Capital Corporation in Spokane, CPA with Deloitte & Touche in New York City, and President and CEO of Banner Bank in Walla Walla. Michael's community involvement and recognition includes then following: President of the Spokane Club, President of Hayden Lake Chamber of Commerce and the Hayden Lake Country Club, President and member of the Spokane Country Library Board, Treasurer of the Spokane Chamber of Commerce, Member of the City of Spokane Library, city of Spokane Outstanding Citizen Award, Washington State University Outstanding Alumni Award and Treasurer and Board Member of the Walla Walla YMCA
Chris graduated in 1968. He spent two years in the Navy Reserve and then received a Bachelor of Arts Degree, Cum Laude, in Business Administration from Washington State University. Chris went on to graduate from the Pacific Coast Banking School and he also took post-graduate classes at Eastern Washington University and the university of Northern Colorado. He is a past Chairman of the Spokane Chapter of Risk Management Association and served as both their chairman and treasurer. Chris had an extensive career in banking ending up with Inland Northwest Bank where he served as Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer and rose to Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. his goal was to help people who often couldn't get help elsewhere. His community involvement included the following: Board of Directors of Northwest Business Development Association, Board of Directors of Spokane Area Small Business Loan Program, Board of Directors of Robert Morris Associates, Board of Directors of Spokane Valley Hospital Foundation, Board of Directors of Jefferson House, Bank Representative of Idaho Community Bankers' Association, and Member of the Advisory Council for Precision Computer Systems, Inc. Each year Inland Northwest Bank awards a scholarship to a Rogers' senior in honor of Chris.
Steven graduated from Rogers in 1965. Steve enlisted in the United States Navy where he rose from the rank of Seaman Recruit to Commander. His graduate studies included the Nuclear Power School and then became an instructor there. Steve was selected for the Naval Enlisted Scientific Education program and received his Bachelor of Science Degree. He went on to the United States Naval Post Graduate School where he earn his Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering. His other education experiences included graduation from Mechanics School, Submarine School, Navy Enlisted Scientific Education Program, and Surface Warfare Officer's School. Steve was a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict and then went on to serve in Bahrain as Officer in Charge of Ship repair, where he was instrumental in the repair of the USS Stark and the USS Roberts, ships critically damaged while patrolling the Persian Gulf. In 1990 he was assigned to the Middle East during Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. Steven assumed command of U.S. Naval Ship Repair Facility in Subic (Philippines) which is the largest ship repair facility in the Pacific. Upon his retirement Steve became an active member of the community working with the Retired Affairs Office in Subic Bay, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and various sports leagues in the area. His honors include the following: Meritorious Service Medal with two gold stars, Navy Achievement Medal, and various campaign medals. He was also a qualified Surface Warfare Officer and Fleet Docking Officer.
