Ron graduated in 1947. He served in the Korean War where he earned the rank of Lieutenant in the United States Navy aboard a naval destroyer and was honorably discharged in 1955. Ron received a Bachelor of Science degree from the university of California and complete an Advanced Management Program from Harvard Business School. He was President and CEO of Consolidated Freightways (now Conway) and he was also President and CEO of Daimer Trucks. Ron's community service consist of the following: Deacon in the Lutheran Church, Volunteer Probation Officer for the state of Oregon. Member of the Elks Lodge supporting local community programs, President of the California Trucking Association, Active supporter of youth Sports and Volunteer Coach, and supporter of International Youth Mission Trips. Ron met with President Jimmy Carter in the White House and he also played golf with President Jerry Ford.
Duane graduated in 1960. After high school Duane joined the Army. After retiring from the Army he became a tool and die maker apprentice, Cad-Cam Programmer, and a Tool Machinist A.A. Duane went to work for General Motors where he received an Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering along with his graduation certificate for Tool and Diemaker. While at General Motors, he was appointed to the International Union of the United Auto Workers. In 1993 Duane became the Chairman of the Shop Committee and negotiated the Local Agreement. Duane's community involvement includes: Member and Chairman of the Board for West Michigan Health Care Network, President of the PTA at Burton Elementary in Grand Rapids and Detroit, coached intercity basketball and baseball, President and Board Chairman of the Nevada-Lidgerwood Council, Chief Precinct Officer, Co-Director of the Shrine Circus, Honor Guard and Rifle Squad for the El Katif Shrine Center "Legion of Honor" Spokane Area Veterans and American Veterans Honor Guard, AMVETS Legion Post Commander, Legislative Officer and Insurance Officer in the Department of Michigan, Judge Advocate for the Department of Washington, Commander of the "Legion of Honor", John R. Rogers Alumni Association, Scottish Rite in Spokane, American Legion, National Sojourners, and member of the Masonic Lodge
Latisha graduated in 1997. She received a Business Associates Degree in Communications and Public Relations from Washington State University, a Masters Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Eastern Washington University, and an A.A. degree in Liberal Arts from Spokane Community College. Latisha is the Manager of Human Resource Strategic Planning at Avista Utilities. Litisha's community service includes the following: Washington State Transportation Commissioner, City of Spokane Mayor's Sustainability Initiative, Spokane Community Development Board, West Plains Chamber of Commerce, Joint Transportation Committee, American Planning Association, Spokane Chapter of The Links., Greater Spokane Incorporated Transportation Board, Founder of the North Monroe Business Association, Emerson Garfield neighborhood Council, EWU Associated Student Planners, Neighborhood Alliance, Junior League of Spokane, Northeast Spokane Grassroots and Communication. Jon graduated in 1963. He received his Ph.D in Physics from Columbia University. Jon served as an instructor and assistant professor at Princeton University before he joined the Physics faculty at University of Illinois. His honors include: Fellow of the American Physical Society and Fermilab Visiting Scholar. Jon is the principal investigator (Group Leader) of the particle physics research group in University of Illinois, and he has significant management responsibilities on two cosmology projects which makes him directly responsible for about $10 million and has 25 people working under him on this project. He was an Instructor/Assistant professor of physics at Princeton university and is currently a Professor of Physics at the University of Illinois. Jon is the author of five textbooks and is a member for both the Dark Energy Survey and Large Synoptic Survey Telescope collaborations. He created a new course, Physics 100 which is designed to address the problems of inadequate secondary-school preparation. Jon chaired a committee that reorganized the undergraduate Physics major's curriculum.
Jim graduated in 1960. He earned a BA in Economics, Summa Cum Laude, and a Bachelor of Science in Math, high honors, from Eastern Washington University. Jim did two years of post graduate work at Gonzaga toward a Masters in Business Administration and he taught classes in Computer Science as an Adjunct Professor at Gonzaga. He taught at Spokane Falls Community College and at the University of Washington as an Adjunct Professor. Jim served 36 years in the United States Navy, retired as a Captain in Intelligence, and then served in the United States Naval Reserve. He was a Commanding Officer of a unit and served as several important projects at the Pentagon and Naval War College. Jim was an Academic Computing Manager at Eastern Washington University; a Manager of Plans and Computer Services as the University of Washington, Research and Technology Manager for the Washington Education Association; and Computer User Services for Olympic College in Bremerton. He was also a Quality Control Engineer for the united States Army, an Operations Research Analyst for the Bunker Hill Mine, and a Senior Engineer for Burroughs Corporation. Jim has also been a Boy Scout Leader, Wishing Star "Technology Finder" and a Big Brother
