Synopsis: This video, though it may have a few additional details for a grade two level, really does a great job of showing repeated examples of how water has many ways by which it can change the surface of the earth.

Synopsis: This video really helps students understand the idea that a river is flowing from higher elevations down to sea level. The video discusses many of the landforms that are a result of this flow of water from higher to lower elevations.

Synopsis: This video begins with students questioning why all rivers are not straight, and then goes on to introduce them to the word "meander." Once they learn the term "meander," they then get to see the progression of rivers meandering, and the formation of oxbow lakes.

Synopsis: Though this video is not limited to landforms found in Canada, this video does go through all the basic landfoms from around the world, and gives examples of landforms from all around the world. This might be a great video to start this section with its array of examples.

Synopsis: This video starts out by looking at rotation, and explains to students why we have the effect of day and night. Once it has this established, it discusses the idea of the revolution around the sun.

Synopsis: Though the title of this video may seem a bit redundant, there certainly are differences between these two videos. One key piece that this video focuses on that links well with Science 1 is the idea of the earth's tilt, and how it relates to seasons. This video gives a nice visual representation of these two words that are somewhat similar.
