As is outlined by the Education Act, there are a minimum of 142.5 hours designated to science in grade three. This leaves anywhere from 25-35 hours per unit, depending if you look to integrate the Computer Science and Scientific Methods outcomes as cross-curricular within other subjects, or cross-uniticular if you just look to carry out those outcomes in other science units.
