There is a wide variety of rigid foams that are appropriate for the CNC workshop. They can be bandsawn and glued to create hollow blanks. There are many products available to fill, sand and prepare the surfaces from acrylic plasters to fine surface fillers. Upholstery foam is not suitable as the tools will snag and tear the material.
