To cut use a blade/knife, you can laser cut but ensure it is stuck down to the laser bed during this process as it is so lightweight.
Balsa wood can be laser cut and engraved at a low power. The laser cutting process will leave laser burn marks on the edges.
To glue Balsa wood use wood glue or gorilla glue ,the glue foams while it dries and penetrates the balsa wood to create a better and stronger hold than average glues.
Finishing Balsa wood: Balsa wood can be sanded carefully with low grit sand paper.
Seal before painting with PVA, shellac or epoxy finishing resin, or a waterborne polycrylic.
