The Right Thing To Do
by Taylor Reuter, 6th grade
I matter because I care. I care about slowing the spread of Coronavirus. I believe that wearing a mask is the responsible thing to do and that everyone should do their part to help stop this pandemic. I can't wait for life to be normal again.

Poppy-ing Out
by Marlana Cornwell, 8th grade
I matter because of the small differences I make. It took most of my life to figure out the things that will matter to me most aren’t going to be the biggest. What’s going to make my life good is knowing I’m cared for and care for others through small, simple acts of kindness. This flower is small, but it still made me happy and made my day better. I matter because I can be a small part of making other people's lives better.

Little Things Can Make Big Differences
by Tristan Sword, 7th grade
A little cell in a big sea. I am a microphyte, a small organism in the ocean working as a collective group to do big things. We take in all that carbon dioxide that you don't need and chew it up while releasing the part that you need, oxygen. You see, like plants we love carbon dioxide, because when we absorb it we can use it to help us. Now we need your help. The ocean is now polluted and it’s killing us, so do your part and help fight pollution. Because little things can make big differences.

Neighborhood Love

Everyone is unique and beautiful. Love, kindness, laughter and caring make our community better. We must all remember that we all matter and all contribute to the happiness of our world.

Seagull
by Lacey West, 6th grade
I matter because I see all of the Earth's wonderful creatures everywhere I go. When I see them they have shown me how beautiful they are.
Rust
by Angela Alvarado, 8th grade
We leave a mark everyday in this world, whether it is a dent or a seed. The older we get the deeper of an impact we make. That is why I have chosen to take a picture of a rusty flower pot. Rust is a perfect example on how humans can leave a beautiful influence every day.
