Lesson 4 - Wake Up on Time!
Reading
Do you usually wake up late in the morning? Do you always turn off the alarm1 and go back to sleep? If you do, don’t worry—two amazing2 alarm clocks are here to solve3 the problem.
The first one is Tocky. This alarm clock rings just like a regular4 one. However, when it rings, it will jump off the table, make a lot of noise, and run around everywhere! To stop the noise, you have to get out of bed and chase5 after it. This will help you get up on time!
The other new alarm clock is Ramos. It was designed6 to wake you up in a different7 way. This smart alarm has three parts: a clock, a Bluetooth beacon, and a smartphone app. To use it, put the beacon far away from your bedroom. When the alarm goes off, you need to hold your smartphone near the beacon in order to stop the alarm. If you use this alarm clock, you will wake up for sure too, because you can’t stay in bed.
The inventors8 of both Tocky and Ramos created9 their clocks because they always overslept10. If you encounter11 the same problem, maybe you can use one of these alarm clocks to wake up on time!
