QPCS takes pride in the achievements of its students. As a comprehensive school, we consistently attain positive value-added scores.

A Level Results 2024

• A*- A 26.0% (21% in 2019)

• A* - B 53.0% (53% in 2019)

• A* - C 77% (81% in 2019)

BTEC Results 2024

BTEC Business results continue to be excellent. 78% of BTEC National grades were Distinction* or Distinction and 100% achieved Distinction*- Merit grades.

QPCS Successes

Here are some examples of student success in 2024:

EL: Studied Maths, Literature, History and Sociology and achieved A*A*A*A. She is now studying History at University of Cambridge.

CB: Studied Physics, Economics and Maths and achieved A*AA as well as an A* for her EPQ. She is now studying Land Economy at University of Cambridge.

KS: Studied Chemistry, Maths, Economics and Physics and achieved A*AAA. She is now studying Chemical Engineering at Imperial College London.

AW: Studied Politics, History and Economics and achieved A*AA. He is now studying Politics and Modern History at Manchester University.

IF: Studied Business, Economics and Maths and achieved ABC. He is now on the PWC Flying Start Programme.

Destinations

QPCS Sixth Form supported 91 students in successfully securing university places across 49 different higher education institutions for September 2024 (this included some Gap Year students from 2023). Notably, gained admission to Oxbridge University to study History, Land Economy, History & Politics, while another student will study Medicine at Imperial College London. We are also pleased to report that 57% of students progressed to Top Third universities. Additionally, one student received a football scholarship to study in the USA, and another student has progressed to a Degree Apprenticeship programme with PWC.
