For this week, we had to take a picture that exemplified minimalism. I chose the succulent in my room because the leaves were green and so was my wall. I used my phone to add more light to the succulent which cast a shadow on the wall. I then went into lightroom the bring out the green in the plant and make the shadow darker, since it was hard lighting.
I took this photo during the projection portraits project. I used a wavy-line projection on Christian and used lightroom to select him as the subject and darken the background to create a contrast between him and the background. I like this picture because it has an almost painting-like look to it, which makes it good because it is actually a photograph.
For this week, we had to take a photo of 25 different objects whether they go together or not. I used an Indian board game called Caram to capture my twenty-five objects. I then went to lightroom to make the the picture warmer and bring out the red tones in the picture as they were dull.
I took this photo when I was cleaning my room and found a candle that I had got a while ago. I decided to light the candle and practice adjusting the shutter speed to let in enough light. I also used a piece of glass to create of reflection. I then used lightroom to darken the background to make the candle stand out more. I like this photo because it allowed me to use my skills and create a more technical-based photo.
