I took this photo using the LED lights in my bedroom. I set the camera on 5 second long exposure and moved the camera in a triangular motion. This caused the light affect that can be seen to the right. I then used lightroom to sharpen each strand of light while completely darkening the background. I then made the horizontal lights red while keeping the vertical lights green. I liked this picture because it gives a Christmasy feel as we are moving into the holiday season.
I took this photo at Valley Forge. Since this week's challenge was colors, i decided to capture the colors in the sky. I used lightroom to bring out the color of the clouds and the sky by using the sky select feature. I then used the same mask-tool and inverted it to create a greater contrast between the ground and the sky.
I took this photo in the science hallway at school when they were decorated for the holiday season. I really liked the way this photo turned out post editing because before, the background of the hallway was visible. I used lightroom to turn up the contrast on the selected the background and also turn down the exposure to create a black background. After this, I increased the vibrance of the colors of the lights as well as gave the wire a little bit more texture.
