Grading
After you complete each scenario, you will see a score from PCS Spark
This score does not reflect what will be posted as the final score in your class.
Students must use VR on a simulation or a 0 is received on the entire VR lab.
The only exception to this is if accommodations have been approved by Student Accessibility Services.
VR labs are worth varying amounts of points, depending on the course.
Pictured is an example rubric
Please check your course rubrics in Brightspace to determine how many points your VR lab is worth.
In every course, an 81% or greater PCS Spark score, and completion in virtual reality will result in full credit on the lab
Your simulations are auto-graded by PCS Sparks artificial intelligence.
Your course instructor will review your PCS Spark simulation, verify that you completed it in virtual reality, and then post your final score, based on your class rubric.
If you feel the artificial intelligence missed something in grading your simulation, you can request a review.
This step requires logging in to PCS Spark's website directly at app.pcs.ai from your computer.
The process is covered in the following video.
This video explains how your PCS Spark performance is graded and shows you how to request a review for credit back on your simulation.
