Introduction

Developing an ongoing understanding of ourselves and others is essential for supporting students and creating a positive learning environment. In this module, you will work through a variety of resources aimed to help you reflect on your identities, the identities of your students, and the unique ways that teachers can respond with empathy, humility, and cultural competence.
