Inspired by Alexander McQueen's spring/summer 2001 fashion show called "Voss". Wanted to capture his life within the box by including scent related to it. The scent is smoky, metalic, and floral to show both dark side and the beauty of his life.

I'm born in year of Tiger and my dad sometimes calls me as young Tiger.

The use of disposable masks increased due to the pandemic.

They usually end in nature. Masks can be found between leaves, sand, and soil. I wanted to talk about where the product that a lot of people use ends.

BODY AND SOUL

In the article about Utopian Body, the author talked about the relationship between beauty, soul, and body.

Our question was: Is body still beautiful even though the soul is separated?

ENDLESS FREEDOM

When I first heard this track, it felt like someone is going up the stairs for endless freedom. It was a group work but surprisingly, we both thought about death (endless freedom) when we heard this song.

WHEN GOING BACK

Whenever I go back to home after working at the studio, I listen to this whole track from my favorite artist. They have released a set of sound effect and some tracks for free so I decided to create my own sound track based on my 'way back home'.

(Recorded some sounds when I was actually going back home and mashed up together)

One-SIDED LOVE

In the poetry, "The poetry of Longing", there was a scene with ocean and water which gave me an idea for this piece.

For me, one-sided love is much more interesting than other shapes of love so I wanted to emphasize that by breaking the heart apart.

FIRST THING ON PAGE

Thinking about my personal ritual, I realized that I always draw my character whenever I get a new sketchbook.

It was inspired by the indigenous ritual activity in South Korea (Called Mu).

GUARDIAN POUCH

The shape is inspired from the tiger.

Has a space in its' mouth to keep important objects.

I keep the bracelet that my mother gave.

SANCTUARY FOR RESTING

I personally like putting my hand between blankets or having my head on or in it. So I decided to make my own sanctuary that I can do those things without having a whole big blanket with me.

The blue part is the blanket that I can either put my hands or head and the brown one is the pillow that I can hold it while I'm resting my head on the base.
