During annual Harvest Festival, Amis has a specific mating ritual using 'alofo (lovers bag). Both woman and man will carry their own unique bag made by their families. Women who will be actively sending Betel nut to their love ones's bag. By eating and exchanging lovers bag, the couple is officially engaged. Furthermore, by having the bag in different length also provide some clues for their relationship status. If the man put the bag shorter just under his left armpits that refers to he is unavailable. However, if the bag is placed at the right side with longer length that's implies his open status.

The idea inspires by the compound eye of an insect. With more than 10,000 eyes with multiple visions, insects recognize the world differently from humans. Often, we tend to show a nervous attitude toward something we are not familiar with. However, if we can approach things from a different perspective, just like the insect watching things in multiple vision, we might feel secure and comfortable. I use kaleidoscope to alter human's viewport by giving a narrow but wide perspective. With the natural sound and scent, audiences can experience nature and even appease while playing with the installation.
