Join the Food Service Upgrade Committee to share you input on how to improve Valley View's lunch spaces!
We are beginning the design phase of our Bond Measure I Food Service Upgrade Project, which will enhance our food service facilities and outdoor dining areas. We are seeking 7–10 staff and community members to serve on a Site Committee to provide input on student dining locations, traffic flow, and current needs, such as a shade over our lunch tables.
Details:
3 or 4 meetings (30 minutes each) via Zoom in March/April
Construction anticipated next summer
We are looking for representatives across grade levels, classified staff, supervision roles, and parents.

Thank You, Mustangs! Health Office Supply Drive Success
What an incredible show of love and generosity! Thank you to everyone who contributed to our "Mustangs to the Rescue" health office supply drive. Natalie and the Valley View staff truly felt the love this Valentine's season.
Because of you, our students now have what they need when they visit the health office - from a clean warm blanket to an ice pack, water on a hot day, a snack to calm a tummy, or clean socks, clothes, and undergarments in the event of an accident. The office is well provisioned and ready to care for our Mustangs every single day.
If you'd still like to contribute, there are a few items remaining on our Sign Up Genius and Amazon Wish List:

Most importantly, our students are cared for - and that's because of YOU. Thank you for showing your heart for Valley View!
With gratitude,
Valley View PTA & Natalie Coffey, VV Health Office
STATE OF THE SCHOOL DISTRICT: JOIN THE CONVERSATION
PPIE is excited to invite our community to the State of the School District on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, in collaboration with Pleasanton Unified School District. The event will be held at the Firehouse Arts Center and brings together school, city, and business leaders for an important conversation about Pleasanton schools.
This year’s event features a more interactive, community-driven format, with a brief district update followed by a live Q&A with PUSD Superintendent Dr. Maurice Ghysels and Board President Kelly Mokashi. Dr. Ghysels will share highlights on district progress, goals, and strategic initiatives—and then open the floor to questions on the topics that matter most to our community.
Your questions will help shape the discussion!
Community members are encouraged to submit questions in advance for the Q&A portion of the program via this form. Live questions will also be taken at the event!
A light breakfast and networking begin at 8:00 a.m., with the program starting at 8:30 a.m. Please RSVP here by Tuesday, March 10.
