Please set aside some time (about 30 minutes) to complete the Valley View California School Parent Survey (CSPS) by November 7th (Date has been extended). Your feedback is incredibly valuable and helps guide our school’s goals and priorities.
I review the survey results with our School Site Council, analyze the data from each question, and read every comment carefully. Your input truly shapes the direction of our school and supports our continuous improvement efforts.
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and help us make Valley View the best it can be for all students!

Over the weekend, the Galaxy soccer team—made up of students from Hearst and Valley View—competed in a tournament hosted by the Ballistic United Soccer Club. On Sunday afternoon, they proudly took home the Under-12 Championship!
Galaxy is co-sponsored by Get on the Bus and Early & Expanded Learning, and we couldn’t be prouder of this incredible group of student-athletes.
Valley View Team members:
Andoninn Said Padilla, Braydon Jackson, Diego Hernandez, Isaiah White, Juan “Emiliano” Escamilla, Luis Andre Montoya, Ramses Cuellar, Ricardo Flores, and Nathan Maciel
Congratulations to all the players for their teamwork, dedication, and sportsmanship! Check out their photo with the championship trophy! 🏅
Day of the Dead - November 1st- 2nd
This Sunday, November 2nd, is Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) — a beautiful Mexican tradition that honors and celebrates loved ones who have passed away. Families create colorful altars, or ofrendas, decorated with photos, candles, marigolds, and favorite foods to remember and celebrate their lives.
An additional Special Board Meetings is sheduled for November 6 (beginning at 5:00 p.m.). All meeting details, participation information, and budget resources (including updated FAQs and the podcast shared last week) are available on the Budget Engagement webpage.
