Join the Food Service Upgrade Committee to share you input on how to improve Valley View's lunch spaces!
We are beginning the design phase of our Bond Measure I Food Service Upgrade Project, which will enhance our food service facilities and outdoor dining areas. We are seeking 7–10 staff and community members to serve on a Site Committee to provide input on student dining locations, traffic flow, and current needs, such as a shade over our lunch tables.
Details:
3 or 4 meetings (30 minutes each) via Zoom in March/April
Construction anticipated next summer
We are looking for representatives across grade levels, classified staff, supervision roles, and parents.
Interested? Sign up here!
As a reminder, before school starts:
Students in 1st–5th grades report to the back playground, where supervision is provided for those grade levels only.
The “big kids” playground is not safe for TK/K students and older students at the same time.
TK and Kindergarten students should:
Remain with an adult in the courtyard or in the front of the school.
Not go to the back playground or to any other area of campus (except directly in front of their teacher’s door).
Wait with an adult for a warm handoff to their teacher.
Please review additional expectations listed on the "TK and K Expectations" flyer.
Thank you for your attention to this and for helping us maintain safe and consistent procedures for our youngest students.
We are in DESPERATE NEED of a few more volunteers to make this event successful! Please sign up: https://tinyurl.com/ycxc3sed
